Aleksandra Efimova is the founder of Russian Pointe and Growing Through Arts, Chicago-based arts-oriented brands that provide dance supplies and educational products. Efimova grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia and moved to the United States as a young adult. She founded her first company while still in college, and is an alumna of Harvard Business School. In addition to managing her companies, Efimova chairs the Moscow Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International and Illinois Senator Mark Kirk’s Eastern European Advisory Board. She also serves as vice president, Midwest, of the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce and frequently hosts events promoting the arts, business development and international relations.
Aaron Frazin (Cofounder and CEO Charlie App) has always been an entrepreneur and built his first company as a teenager: a small web design and animation shop. He’s since worked at Prezi on their global strategy and was one of the 20 entrepreneurs from around the world selected for the Kauffman Foundation’s entrepreneurial fellowship which grooms the “top young entrepreneurs from around the world.”
Vlad Moldavskiy is deeply-rooted in Chicago, earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance from DePaul University and maintaining previous international contacts at global companies such as Sidley Austin and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Today, Vlad is a Partner and Chief Growth Officer at Mabbly, a fast-growing digital agency in Chicago, where he oversees key accounts, new business development and digital strategy. Additionally, over the last three years, Vlad has expanded an investment portfolio consisting of media and marketing technology companies and products. He is also a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) and contributes as a thought leader to publications such as the Huffington Post and Forbes.
Joel Paglione (Founder at Oak Bottle and LevitatingCUP). Joel Paglione is the inventor and entrepreneur behind the successfully Kickstarted products the "Oak Bottle" and the "Levitating Cup". Paglione grew up in Ontario, Canada where he earned his Industrial Engineering bachelors degree and his MBA. In addition to operating his own companies, he most recently has been brought on by Sears Holdings Company to help Sears and KMART with its turnaround by reevaluating their business processes and financial strategies. From defense industry to entrepreneurship, Joel learned the importance of "speed to market" in product development which has forged his fast paced style when it comes to the product development of dozens of his inventions and designs. His passion and experience in solving real world problems, whether big or small, is rooted in who he is and what he believes in.
Alannah Sandehl (Kellogg ’07) is the Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at IDM Brand, an integrated marketing agency with offices across the United States and partners worldwide. In her 20 years of industry experience, Alannah grew passionate about driving positive change through innovative and creative marketing. Integrating artfulness and creativity with data-driven analytics, Under Alannah's leadership, IDM created many impactful campaigns for clients like Amazon, Mayo Clinic, Lifeway Foods and Rotary International, among many others. Since founding IDM Brand in 2001, she strives to attract clients who are socially conscious in their product or service offerings as well as philanthropic tactics. This approach proves successful, and IDM continues to work with clients who uphold these standards.
Paul Stepankovskiy is a Senior Vice President - Wealth Management and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS Financial Services for the FKS Wealth Management Group. Paul is one of the founders and principals of FKS Wealth Management Group, which works exclusively with successful families, business owners, young professionals and their advisors. Paul began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1997 after successfully selling his Corporate Catering business. He holds bachelor's degree in economics from University of Illinois, in Chicago and MBA in finance from DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management. He completed his Certified Financial Planner certification at Northwestern University after submitting to the rigorous CFP certification process that includes a demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.
